We have seen organizations struggle to make significant progress toward creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and we know that there is a wealth of untapped research knowledge that can make a difference in their Diversity & Inclusion approach. Thus, we decided to use our passion for scientific research to help leaders adopt proven methodologies that positively shift cultures & drive excellent business results. Venus Rekow

Chief Behavioral Strategist

A behavioral consultant, researcher, and facilitator whose passion lies in transforming work cultures into inclusive communities that foster equitable employee experiences. She creates effective roadmaps to drive DEI efforts and translates scientific insights into actionable managerial habits. Her clients include fortune 500 organizations and non-profits. Venus holds a B.S. in psychology from Boise State University; an M.S. in Organizational Systems from Seattle University; completed coursework for an M.S. in Neuroscience from University of Oberta, Spain; Certified in Behavioral Economics from Harvard and is ICF Certified executive coach from IPEC.

Shermoin Clardy

Consultant

Shermoin Clardy is an educator and clinician who is passionate about helping communities of color thrive. She is well known for her ability to design and deliver trauma-informed training in the areas of racial justice for large and small organizations. Her experience includes training on inclusive leadership and lecturing at the University of Washington, School of Social Work. As a clinical director, she works with families in the areas of mental health, substance abuse, gerontology, and forensic social work. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington and is a Mental Health Professional (MHP).

Eva ogden

Consultant

Eva is a diversity and inclusion leader with a focus on anti-racism, Latinx advocacy, and women’s empowerment. She has successfully implemented new corporate initiatives, led change through multiple bank mergers, and trained employees at all levels of the finance industry. Eva’s work with non-profit organizations has resulted in the creation of innovative grants, mentorship, and leadership programs for women and people in the Latinx community. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Dallas. Eva received a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and Designing Learning Certificate from the Association for Talent Development. 

Julia Freeland

Consultant

Julia is an accomplished facilitator and change management strategist, specializing in helping leaders shift mindsets and drive accountability to achieve organizational goals. She has designed and implemented initiatives in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion, Performance Management, and Leadership developed for a wide range of clients, including Microsoft, Sony, Delta Dental of Washington, and HGST. Julia holds a Master of Art in Education from U.C. Berkeley and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. She has also studied Organizational Behavior at Kellogg School of Management and Leadership Development at Northwestern University. 

Eric Hatzenbuehler

Consultant

Eric is a facilitator and coach passionate about creating inclusive employee & customer experiences. He has expertise in the areas of Health & Wellness, Obesity, and Chronic disease prevention working with large organizations. Eric has led training to foster cohesive teams and facilitated dialogues on LGBTQIA issues to transform employee and patient experience. His group facilitation work focuses on enhancing awareness, generating insights, and inspiring practical actions. Eric holds a B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University and is a certified executive coach from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). 

Jasmine Medina-Perez

Project Manager

Jasmine is a DEI and anti-racism advocate passionate about seeing diverse individuals thrive in the workplace. She successfully supports the strategy, design, and implementation of complex DEI programs for large organizations. Jasmine is well known for her ability to conduct research and execute project management functions that keep projects within scope and budget. She holds a Bachelors’ degree in International Business from Western Washington University and a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership from the University of Washington.

Brian Smith

Consultant

Brian is an expert at translating psychology research into effective training and programs. He is highly skilled at creating a curriculum using scientific research insights. As a skilled trainer, he has delivered in-person training to adult audiences on how to create Psychological Safety in the workplace & Stress Management and Resilience. He successfully led the design and development of a social-emotional learning program used in 30% of US schools. Brian has published book chapters and scientific articles and developed an online platform of resources for educators. He earned a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Washington. 

Dori Sonntag

Consultant

Dori is an executive coach and strategist with 16+ years of professional experience leading and coaching teams towards the achievement of record-breaking goals. Utilizing a strengths-based approach, Dori works with executives to maximize their leadership potential, while leveraging the skills and talents of a greater team to create a culture of inclusion, accountability, and success. Dori holds a B.A. in psychology and M.A. in counseling psychology from Gonzaga University. She is a Certified Executive Coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC.) and a CIQ Enhanced Skills Coach in Conversational Intelligence®.
